It is not one day. It is two.
On March 12, 2026, at 02:09, a silent commit: init: brain — knowledge base & context store. A folder. Markdown files. The same day counts forty commits: infrastructure documentation first, then at 08:36 the first agents — vps and mail, with a _template and an index. The recruiter follows at 08:52, then code-review, ci-cd, orchestrator, the three optimizer, security, testing, debug, refacto, monitoring, scribe, mentor, agent-review. Seventeen agents before midnight.
The next day, March 13, the work changes nature.
March 13 — The birth
The day begins before dawn. At 02:25, a first commit restructures what already existed — ENTRYPOINT, PATHS, portability — and adds seven agents, including pm2, coach and toolkit-scribe. The brain does not yet know what it is, but it is starting to know where it lives.
At 06:38, todo-scribe is forged — the agent whose only job is to remember what is left to do. Twelve minutes later, CLAUDE.md goes from 161 to 53 lines. The trim is brutal and necessary: the bootstrap file must contain only the bootstrap. Everything else will go into the agents.
Then, at 08:14, the butler.
7a5d63b — feat(agents): helloWorld forgé — majordome bootstrap (“feat(agents): helloWorld forged — bootstrap butler”)
No grand speech. Just a file dropped into agents/, next to the twenty-nine agents already there, and todos in todo/brain.md. The bootstrap already existed — CLAUDE.md, PATHS.md. This commit gave it a butler: an agent that knows how to say hello, read the state of the system, and ask the question: “Quelle session aujourd’hui ?” (“Which session today?”)
The morning ends there. In the afternoon, nothing — not one commit for ten hours. As if the brain were catching its breath.
And then 19:00.
The burst begins. In under two and a half hours, between 19:18 and 21:39, a single agent is born — brainstorm, at 19:19. Everything else is a rework: the existing agents, one by one, with the same word in every commit — fondements (foundations).
scribe is reworked first, at 19:28 — and with it, the fundamental law that will never change: conditional sources. No agent loads everything at boot. Each one knows exactly which files to read, and on which trigger. The brain must not be heavy — it must be precise.
orchestrator follows at 19:30. Then vps, pm2, ci-cd, migration, debug, mail, recruiter, security, coach-scribe, toolkit-scribe, todo-scribe, code-review, mentor, interprete, testing, refacto, monitoring, the three optimizer, frontend-stack, i18n, doc. Almost every commit reworks one agent. Each rework is a decision about what the system must know how to do — and under which conditions it has the right to speak.
This was not development. It was living taxonomy. Giving skills boundaries, making them invocable. At 21:58, the agent-review grid closes: 29 agents out of 29 moved onto the new foundations.
At 20:48, a todo that will become a law: scopes écriture — Écrit où déclaratif + git comme audit trail (“write scopes — declarative Écrit où (Written where) + git as audit trail”). The scribe writes, git proves. The distinction will be respected in every agent forged after this commit.
At 22:07, environmentalization — a barbaric word for a simple idea: strip from each agent everything specific to one machine. Replace paths, URLs, proper names with variables. Make the brain exportable. The brain does not know it yet, but it is the first step toward the template that will come weeks later.
At 22:52, config-scribe is forged. At 23:29, brain-compose Phase 1 closes the day. The brain has a multi-instance orchestrator, feature flags, a semantic version.
84 commits. A brain that, in the morning, did not know what it was. In the evening, it has a memory protocol, and 29 agents brought under the same fundamental law.
March 14 — The reinforcement
The night is not over. At 00:02, memory-architecture lays down three pillars that will not move again: TTL, sectioning, stratification. How the brain forgets, how it stores, how it ranks.
At 01:38, BSI — the central registry of inter-session claims — is born in BRAIN-INDEX.md. At 02:30, brain-compose moves to v0.2.0. At 03:13, orchestrator-scribe receives a primitive that will change everything: sess-id@machine. Two parallel sessions do not read each other — they communicate through signals. The brain has just invented its own session identity.
At 04:40, a clean commit: feat: BYOKS — contrat secrets par projet, conventions nommage (“feat: BYOKS — per-project secrets contract, naming conventions”). Each project declares its required secrets in its record. The brain does not guess — it checks.
Then morning comes, and with it, the incident.
At 07:33, two commits in quick succession. fix: secrets-guardian — protocole interruption STOP immédiat (“fix: secrets-guardian — immediate STOP interruption protocol”). Then at 07:36: fix: secrets-guardian — protocole shell commands (“fix: secrets-guardian — shell commands protocol”). Not a clean first version — one fix, then another. The agent had already exposed a leak surface during the session itself. The interruption protocol was not theorized: it was written in reaction.
At 07:39, secrets-guardian is registered in AGENTS.md and switched to permanently hot. The permanence was not planned — it was forced by the incident.
The final rule is clear. Four surfaces: source code, chat, shell commands, tool outputs. On each, the same response: 🚨🚨🚨 SESSION SUSPENDUE. No signal, no warning — full suspension until explicit resolution.
At 08:25, the commit that sets the tone: refactor: secrets-guardian — identité refondée, 4 surfaces, SESSION SUSPENDUE, fracassant sur le rouge (“refactor: secrets-guardian — identity rebuilt, 4 surfaces, SESSION SUSPENDED, shattering on red”). The word “fracassant” (“shattering”) is in the commit. It is not an adjective picked at random — it is an intention. The agent that protects secrets does not ask politely. It shatters.
The afternoon of the 14th has another rhythm. At 14:00, the boot claim becomes automatic — helloWorld opens and pushes a BSI claim at every start, with no intervention. At 17:59, coach receives a new role — mentor for big decisions, guardian of the brain’s philosophy. At 18:25, the metabolism appears — the brain starts measuring its own activity.
The evening is dense. brain-template v0.6.0. KERNEL.md — the law of zones, graduated protection, commit ownership. architecture-scribe. The integrator and the tech-lead, forged around midnight.
The day of the 14th ends well after midnight with 128 commits. Two days, 212 commits in total. The brain that, some 70 hours earlier, was only an init, is now a system with agents, protocols, a secrets guardian, a session identity, and a fundamental law that says: load only what you need, and prove everything through git.
What was built

agents/helloWorld.md— bootstrap butler (7a5d63b, 08:14)- 29 agents reworked in a burst onto the new foundations (19:28–21:55), including

Key decisions
Conditional sources as the base law. No agent loads its context at boot without an explicit trigger. An architectural decision present in every agent commit on the evening of March 13 — the very first rule of the brain, even before security.
secrets-guardian permanent and non-negotiable. Switched to always (hot) after a leak detected in session on the morning of March 14. The permanence was not planned — it was forced by the incident. The word “fracassant” (“shattering”) in the commit says everything about the intention.
session-as-identity. The orchestrator-scribe received a sess-id@machine identifier as a primitive. Two parallel sessions do not read each other — they communicate through BSI Signals.
BYOKS. feat: BYOKS — contrat secrets par projet, conventions nommage (“feat: BYOKS — per-project secrets contract, naming conventions”) (1d92f18, 04:40). Each project declares its required secrets in its record. The brain does not guess — it checks.
Git as audit trail. scopes écriture — Écrit où déclaratif + git comme audit trail (“write scopes — declarative Écrit où (Written where) + git as audit trail”) (29b35da, 20:48 on March 13). The scribe writes, git proves. The distinction will be respected in every agent forged after this commit.
